THE MISSION
End violence against women and girls, everywhere.

THE CHALLENGE

THE MOST WIDESPREAD HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSE HAS NO TREATY.

Violence against women and girls reaches into every country, every culture and every community. Yet the world has never agreed on one binding global standard to end it.

Every Woman Treaty, a coalition of women’s rights advocates from around the world, set out to change that. They needed more than a logo. They needed a symbol people could rally behind, and a voice strong enough to move governments.

THE IDEA

THREE BARS.
ONE TRUTH.

We built the identity on a single fact. Three bars stand for the one in three.

Bold, black and unmistakable, the mark reads the same in any language and needs no translation. Once you know what it means, you can’t unsee it.

WHY IT MATTERS

A PROMISE TO
EVERY WOMAN.

A treaty is a promise between nations. This one is a promise to every woman, wherever she lives.

THE MOVEMENT, ONLINE

TREATIES UNITE NATIONS.
THIS ONE UNITES HUMANITY.

We carried the idea across a website, a mobile app, social channels and email, giving supporters everywhere a simple way to learn, sign and share.

SAFER
SOONER.

The Safer Sooner report and its launch film made the case to world leaders: a global treaty would make women safer, sooner.
